As of June 10, 2022, legislation issued by the Organisme d'auto-réglementation du courtage immobilier du Québec (OACIQ) requires all real estate brokers to formalize their support with a brokerage-purchase contract in order to legally advise and represent you. Complying with these regulations means complying with the law!

It's also crucial to note that a real estate broker must never be in a conflict of interest situation, i.e., represent both the seller's and the buyer's interests in the same transaction, according to the Real Estate Brokerage Act.
